ICAR Opens Annual Transfer Cycle 2026 for ARS Scientists

The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) has issued an Office Memorandum dated September 25, 2026, announcing the opening of the Annual Transfer Cycle 2026 for ARS Scientists. The document invites eligible and desirous scientists to submit their transfer requests on an own-request basis.

All requests will be evaluated by the Headquarters Transfer Committee (HTC) based on the applicable guideline provisions, vacancy availability, and functional requirements.

The decision of the Competent Authority will be final and binding. Applications from scientists under suspension or facing disciplinary proceedings will be dealt with separately.
