LBSNAA In-Service Training (IST) Programmes 2026-27

The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Government of India, has officially released the finalized calendar for the One Week In-Service Training (IST) Programmes scheduled for 2026-27 at LBSNAA, Mussoorie. This Office Memorandum was issued on June 1st, 2026.

Target Audience & Eligibility

  • The training programmes are designed for All India Service Officers (IAS, IPS & IFOS), organized Group 'A' Central Civil Services Officers, and officers working under the Central Staffing Scheme.
  • It is also open to CSS/CSSS officers operating at the level of Deputy Secretary (DS) / Senior Principal Private Secretary (Sr. PPS) and above.
  • Eligible candidates are required to submit their nominations online through the e-HRMS portal.

Key Programme Highlights

  • A total of 21 physical/offline training programmes will be conducted between June 2026 and March 2027.
  • The standard course fee for each programme is set at Rs. 7400/- per day, per participant (excluding applicable taxes).
  • The curriculum covers a diverse range of governance topics, including Digital Transformation, Disaster Resilience, Criminal Law Reforms, Border Economy, MSMEs, Sustainable Tourism, and Data-Enabled Governance.

Application Guidelines

The nomination process, fee structure, and other general terms remain unchanged from the previous circular dated April 16, 2026. All Ministries, Departments, State Governments, and Union Territories are requested to give this calendar wide publicity to ensure a high attendance of officers in these critical programs.
