The Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) has issued an Office Memorandum extending the completion timeframe for mandatory online training on the iGOT Karmayogi platform. Below is a summary of the new timeline:

  • Previous Extension: Employees originally had until May 31, 2026, to finish their required courses and Comprehensive Assessment.
  • Latest DoPT Order: Following a new directive from the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on May 25, 2026, the timeline for the 2025-26 Reporting Year has been pushed back further.
  • New Deadline: All CSIR employees now have until June 30, 2026, to complete the mandatory courses and Comprehensive Assessment. Note: This must be completed before the submission of the APAR to the Reporting Authority, whichever comes first.
  • Next Steps: All concerned individuals are urged to ensure their assessments are finished within this newly revised schedule.
