Memorandum Summary
The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) has issued an official directive regarding the wide publicity of the National Tobacco Quitline Services (NTQLS). The Competent Authority has approved this initiative to strongly encourage tobacco users to seek counseling and support for tobacco cessation.
To ensure maximum reach, all CSIR Laboratories, Institutes, and Units have been requested to prominently display the Quitline number. The designated locations for display include office notice boards, official websites, social media platforms, internal communication channels, and other appropriate areas.
