The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, has released a revised update concerning the periodic review of Central Government Employees. The primary objective of this review is the strengthening of administration as governed by Fundamental Rules (FR) 56(j)/(l) and Rule 42 of the CCS (Pension) Rules, 2021.

This recent memorandum refers to previous guidelines issued on May 22, 2025, and provides the Competent Authority's approval for the new structure of the Representation Committee.

Revised Representation Committee Composition

The revised committee consists of the following members:

  • Shri Bharat Harbanslal Khera: Secretary, Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises.
  • Shri Solomon Arokiaraj: Additional Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat.
  • Nominated Member: One representative to be nominated by the Cadre Controlling Authority.
