Holiday Update: Change in Date for Id-ul-Zuha (Bakrid) 2026
The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) has circulated an official notification regarding a change in the upcoming holiday for Id-ul-Zuha (Bakrid).
Key Changes:
- New Holiday Date: The holiday has been shifted from May 27, 2026, to May 28, 2026.
- Applicability (Delhi/New Delhi): This change applies to all Central Government administrative offices located in Delhi and New Delhi.
- Offices Outside Delhi: For offices outside Delhi and New Delhi, the holiday date will be decided by the Central Government Employees Coordination Committees or Heads of Offices, depending upon the respective State Government's decision.
