The Grih Kalyan Kendra (GKK) has released an Office Memorandum (F.No. 08/04/2016-GKK /1158) inviting nominations for the position of Centre-in-Charge for the upcoming 2026-2027 year. This role is an additional charge for officers located outside of Delhi.

Willingness is invited for Centres located in the following cities:
- Jaipur
- Bangalore
- Dehradun
- Kolkata

Core Responsibilities
The selected Centre-in-Charge will be responsible for several welfare and administrative tasks:
- Ensuring the maintenance, security, and cleanliness of Samaj Sadans and GKK centres.
- Managing welfare activities, including admissions and the collection of fees.
- Liaising with the CPWD for necessary repairs and maintenance.
- Coordinating with Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) and Area Welfare Officers.
- Protecting GKK property from encroachment or unauthorized use.
Terms of Engagement
The engagement is initially for one year. However, it can be extended on a year-to-year basis for up to a maximum of 5 years, or until the officer is transferred from the city.
