Bharat Innovates 2026 is a prestigious national initiative by the Department of Higher Education. Scheduled from June 14th to 16th, 2026, in Nice, France, the event coincides with the India-France Year of Innovation.
Announced by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, the program aims to build a bridge between India's innovation ecosystem—comprising startups, Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), and research parks—and global investors and partners.

CBSE Engagement for Schools
To foster a culture of innovation, CBSE has requested schools to organize activities during May 2026:
- Awareness Programs: Seminars on the evolving innovation landscape and special classes on 'Introduction to Deep Tech'.
- Competitions: Bharat Quizzes, Essay Writing, and structured holiday assignments.
- Social Media: Students are encouraged to create short videos/reels of these activities tagging @Bharatinnovates2026.
- Reporting: Schools must submit reports and photographs via the official Google Link provided by the Board.

France is the chosen partner because it provides a world-class launchpad for Indian innovations to reach Europe and global markets. The event includes Bilateral Meetings, Pitching Sessions, and Spotlight Talks by global thought leaders.
