In-Service Training Calendar 2026-27

Overview
The Department of Personnel and Training has finalized the calendar for One-Week In-Service Training (IST) programs for the 2026-27 academic year. These offline/physical residency programs are designed to enhance the professional skills of senior officers across various government services.
Eligibility Criteria
- All India Services: IAS, IPS, and IFoS officers with at least 4 years of service as of April 1, 2026 (up to 2021 batch).
- Central Services: Organized Group 'A' Officers, Central Secretariat Service (CSS), and CSSS officers of the level of Deputy Secretary/Sr. PPS and above.
- Lateral Entrants: Officers at the level of Deputy Secretary, Director, or Joint Secretary.
- Exclusions: Officers posted abroad or those retiring in the same month as the scheduled training are not eligible.
Registration & Participation Rules
- Enrollment: All applications must be submitted through the e-HRMS portal under the 'Employee Services' section.
- Deadlines: Enrollment or changes to options must be completed at least 15 days before a program begins.
- Frequency: Officers can attend only one IST program during the financial year and cannot repeat a course attended in the last three years.
