Circular: Deputation Opportunities in Special Protection Group (SPG)

Applications are invited from willing and eligible officers for filling up vacancies in the Special Protection Group (Cabinet Secretariat) on a deputation basis.

Key Eligibility Criteria

  • Pay Grade: Officers in Pay Level 8 & 10 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years of regular service experience.
  • Age: Preferably below 45 years (nominations above 45 may be considered if younger candidates are unavailable).

Allowances & Benefits

  • Deputation Allowance: Admissible as per standard DoP&T rules.
  • Combatisation Bonus: Suitable officers appointed to Combatised posts receive an allowance equivalent to 27.5% of Basic Pay plus Dress Allowance.
  • Accommodation: Immediate allotment of hostel/family accommodation at SPG Complex, Dwarka, New Delhi.

Note: The standard tenure of deputation is six years for combatised roles and three years otherwise.
