Update: Extension of Suspension Revocation for Paras HMRI Hospital, Patna
The Office of the Additional Director, CGHS Patna, has issued a new order regarding the status of Paras HMRI Hospital (HOSP10P128590). Following a meeting of the High Power Committee held on March 9, 2026, it has been decided to extend the temporary revocation of the hospital's suspension.
Background of the Suspension
- The hospital was initially suspended for a period of six months effective from April 12, 2024.
- Suspension was subsequently revoked temporarily for three months in September 2024, followed by a one-year extension in December 2024.
- Under the current order dated March 9, 2026, the revocation of suspension has been further extended for one year.
Mandatory Conditions for Extension
The extension is subject to the following strict conditions:
- The hospital must strictly comply with all provisions of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA).
- In case of any repeat violations, the authorities will consider the permanent cancellation of the hospital’s CGHS empanelment.
