CGHS Healthcare Organization Updates (March 2026)
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has recently issued several updates regarding the empanelment status of private healthcare organizations under the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) for Chennai and Ahmedabad.
---1. New Empanelment: Chennai
The Office of the Additional Director, CGHS Chennai, has announced the fresh empanelment of Mehta Multispeciality Hospitals India Pvt. Ltd..

Following written requests from the respective hospitals, two facilities in Ahmedabad have been removed from the CGHS empanelled list effective March 17, 2026.
HCG Aastha Cancer Centre
- Status: De-empanelled from the CGHS Ahmedabad list.
- Reason: Written request received from the Health Care Organization (HCO).
Kanba Hospital (Lakhani Hospitals Pvt. Ltd.)
- Status: De-empanelled from the CGHS Ahmedabad list.
- Reason: Written request received from the Health Care Organization (HCO).
