Automation of Annual Accounts on PFMS

The Controller General of Accounts (CGA) has issued an Office Memorandum (No.G-25018/CGA-AA/Integration/PFMS/2025-26/3855-3907) dated 06.03.2026 regarding the automation of Appropriation Accounts.
Key highlights of the memorandum include:
- The Head-wise Appropriation Accounts for the year 2025-26 must now be submitted through the Appropriation Accounts Module of the PFMS.
- This submission is part of a parallel run for the full automation of Appropriation Accounts.
- Appropriation Accounts are to be submitted on PFMS simultaneously with manual accounts.
Note on Timelines: All timelines remain the same as per the previous schedule notified on 23.02.2026.
