Public Notice: Caution Against Fraudulent Website and Mobile App
The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) has released a public alert dated 13 February 2026 to inform citizens about a fraudulent digital platform operating under the name xpo-ru.
Authorities have reported that this website and mobile application is involved in misleading activities such as promising unusually high returns, bonuses, and referral-based income schemes to attract money from the public.
Key Information for the Public
Investigations indicate that the entity behind xpo-ru is not authorized or registered under the PFRDA Act, 2013. Despite this, it has been collecting funds from individuals, particularly in parts of Rajasthan.
Citizens who wish to invest in pension-related products like the National Pension System (NPS) are strongly advised to deal only with intermediaries that are officially registered with PFRDA.
Important Advisory
Members of the public should avoid sharing money, personal information, or documents with any unregistered websites, mobile applications, or individuals claiming to offer pension or investment schemes without proper authorization.
PFRDA has clarified that it will not be responsible for any financial losses arising from interactions with unauthorized entities. Any such transactions are undertaken entirely at the individual’s own risk.
Official Resources
For verified information on pension schemes and authorized intermediaries, users should visit the official PFRDA and NPS Trust websites.
