1. Key Features at a Glance
The myCGHS 2.0 app offers a range of digital health services through a secure and user-friendly interface. Some of the standout features include:
- Secure Login: Authentication using your Beneficiary ID and an OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
- MPIN Facility: Create a 6-digit MPIN for faster future logins without waiting for an OTP.
- Appointment Booking: Book online OPD appointments at CGHS wellness centers by choosing your preferred doctor and time slot.
- Digital e-Card: View and download your CGHS digital card directly within the app.
- Medical History & Reports: Access your medication history, drug status, and download lab reports.
2. Features Available Without Login
Even before you log in, the app provides useful tools for general navigation and information:
- Nearby Hospital/Lab: Search for empanelled hospitals and labs within 5km of your current location and view them on a map.
- Wellness Centre Search: Find the nearest CGHS Wellness Centres and Additional Director (AD) offices.
- News & Highlights: View the latest official notifications and circulars in PDF format.
- eSanjeevani OPD: Access the MoHFW telemedicine service for online doctor consultations.
3. Getting Started: The Login Process
Step-by-Step Login:
- Open the app and enter your Beneficiary ID and Registered Mobile Number.
- Tap on 'Generate OTP'.
- Enter the OTP received on your phone and tap 'Verify & Login'.
- Upon your first successful login, you will be prompted to create a 6-digit MPIN. This allows you to skip the OTP process in the future.
4. Managing Your Health Records
Appointment Booking
You can book an appointment by selecting your city, specialty, wellness center, and consultation doctor. The app allows you to choose a specific date and available time slot. You can also view upcoming appointments or cancel them if they are no longer needed.
Medication & Lab Reports
The app provides a detailed Medication History, showing medicines prescribed and their issue status (Issued vs. Not Issued). You can also track the status of Indented or Restricted drugs. Lab reports can be viewed and downloaded as soon as they are available.
Referral Details
Beneficiaries can view and download referral letters in PDF format for investigations or consultations at empanelled hospitals.
5. Family & Profile Management
The Home Dashboard displays your profile details, including your date of birth, card type, and parent wellness center. If you are the main cardholder, you can use the Dependent Management feature to switch profiles and view the details of your family members.
6. Support and Help
If you face technical issues or have queries regarding your claims, the app provides direct access to the CGHS Helpline and a comprehensive FAQ section. You can also check the latest CGHS approved rates for various treatments based on ward types and facility categories.
