Mandatory iGOT Training Update (2025-26)

The Department of Posts (Training Division) has issued a significant notification regarding the introduction of mandatory course completion and comprehensive assessments for all regular employees. Successful completion is now a requirement for the 2025-26 Annual Performance Appraisal Report (APAR) cycle.
Critical Compliance Timeline
Employees must adhere to the following special drive milestones:
- 15.02.2026: Completion of at least one APAR course.
- 01.03.2026: Completion of at least three APAR courses.
- 31.03.2026: Completion of all six prescribed courses and respective assessments.
Key Requirements & Integration
- Mandatory Completion: All regular employees (excluding GDS and contractual staff) must complete at least 50% of the prescribed courses by March 31, 2026.
- Course Allocation: Six specific courses covering Behavioural, Functional, and Domain competencies have been identified and assigned.
- Comprehensive Assessments: Success in standalone assessments for three identified courses is mandatory to satisfy the APAR requirements.
- Prerequisites: Completion of the relevant course is strictly required before an employee can attempt the Comprehensive Assessment.
- Profile Verification: Users must ensure their "Group" and "Designation" on the iGOT Portal are correctly updated. Incorrect profile details leading to non-reflection in the APAR will be the employee's responsibility.
- APAR Data Sync: For SPARROW users, completion status will be fetched automatically; for others, the status will be generated by the MDO for manual incorporation.

Employees are encouraged to download the iGOT Karmayogi mobile application for convenient anytime-anywhere learning and completion of the mandatory training targets.
