Subject: Mandatory consumption of APAR linked courses on iGOT Karmayogi Platform and completion of comprehensive assessments
Summary of Updates
The Department of Personnel & Training has issued clarifications regarding the mandatory completion of designated courses on the iGOT Karmayogi platform. These courses and their comprehensive assessments are required to be reflected in Performance Appraisal Reports (PAR).
Key Highlights:
- Applicability: These provisions currently apply to all Central Government employees and officers belonging to the All India Services (AIS).
- Mission Karmayogi Mandate: The mandate covers all civil servants, holders of civil posts, and temporary hires discharging responsibilities for the Union Government.
- Autonomous Bodies & PSUs: Employees of Autonomous Bodies and Public Sector Enterprises are encouraged to onboard and undertake courses on the iGOT portal.
- Administrative Authority: Individual Ministries and Departments are not restricted from mandating these courses for any set of employees under their administrative control.
- Custom Training Plans: Ministries wishing to mandate assessments for Autonomous Bodies/PSUs can do so by creating and uploading specific training plans on iGOT.
