The CGDA has released official instructions for the upcoming Departmental Examination for the promotion of Graduate Clerks to the Grade of Auditor, scheduled to take place on 08th April, 2026.

Selected Centres and Conducting Officers

The following offices have been nominated as Nodal Conducting Officers for the examination centres:

Strict Videography Requirements

To ensure transparency and prevent malpractice, the Competent Authority has mandated the digital videography of the entire examination proceeding. Key technical instructions include:

  • Resolution: Use indoor fixed HD resolution CCTV or equivalent cameras with clear audio.
  • Coverage: Recording must start 15 minutes prior to the exam and continue until completion, including the opening and sealing of papers.
  • Data Display: Date and time must be invariably displayed on the recording.
  • Storage: Recordings must be stored on DVDs in movie mode (copy protection enabled) and forwarded to HQrs no later than the day after the exam.
  • Retention: Backup recordings must be kept for one year or until further notice from the CGDA office.

Deadlines for Officers

Nominated Conducting Officers must confirm all arrangements for the smooth conduct of the exam by 20.03.2026.
