New Features Introduced on the iGOT Karmayogi Platform
The iGOT Karmayogi platform serves as the digital backbone for the capacity building of civil servants under Mission Karmayogi. To further strengthen this initiative, the government has introduced several advanced features and programmes to enhance professional development.
1. iGOT Marketplace
Launched on December 26, 2025, the iGOT Marketplace provides access to top-quality, advanced courses from eminent national and international universities.
- Free Access: These courses are available free of cost to iGOT users.
- Karma Points: Access is subject to achieving a specific threshold of Karma Points.
- Democratized Learning: Designed to cater to the functional and behavioral needs of all government functionaries, from field-level staff to senior executives.
2. iGOT Specializations
These offer structured, role-aligned learning pathways designed to prepare officials for future-ready governance in priority thematic areas.
- Focus Areas: Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Digital Health, PM Gati Shakti, Public Policy, and Public Leadership.
- Recognition: Completion of a specialization leads to a Specialisation Badge and additional Karma Points.
All Ministries, Departments, and State/UT Governments are encouraged to utilize these new features to align with the goal of Viksit Bharat.
