CSIR Cashless Indoor Treatment Guidelines & Hospital Directory (2026)
The Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) has officially updated the combined list of 137 CGHS-recognized hospitals for Cashless Indoor Treatment. This facility aims to make medical services accessible and transparent for all beneficiaries.
Key Coverage: Agreements with Medanta - The Medicity (Gurugram, Indore, Lucknow, and Ranchi) are valid for all 37 CSIR Labs and Institutes across India.
Eligible Beneficiaries
- Serving Personnel of CSIR HQ and Delhi-NCR Labs.
- Pensioners and Family Pensioners.
- Dependent family members of the above.
Emergency Protocol
In emergency situations, hospitals are mandated to provide credit facilities without waiting for a "Permission Letter." Patients must present their employee/pensioner photo ID and a valid CGHS card upon admission.
