📢 Transfer of SSA Cadre Policy 2025-26

🗓️ Date: 02 DEC 2025

The EPFO Head Office has released the guidelines for the Annual General Transfer (AGT) and Inter-State Transfers for Social Security Assistants (SSA) for the year 2025-26. This includes mutual transfers and request transfers under the Group 'C' Transfer Policy 2025.

🚀 Key Highlights

  • Transfer Types Covered:
    • Permanent Mutual Transfer (For DR Quota Officials)
    • Temporary Mutual Transfer (Tenure of 6 years)
    • Permanent Inter-State Request Transfer (Subject to loss of seniority)
  • Eligibility: Officials who have completed 5 years tenure on temporary Inter-State Transfer may apply for permanent transfer through their Parent Regional Offices.

📅 Crucial Dates & Deadlines

Strict timelines have been set for the submission and forwarding of applications:

  • 10-12-2025: Last date for officials to submit applications to Regional Offices.
  • 19-12-2025: Regional Offices to compile and forward requests to Zonal Offices.
  • 28-12-2025: Zonal Offices to compile all categories and forward to Head Office.
⚠️ IMPORTANT WARNING:
Any official whose transfer request is accepted and who subsequently refuses or withdraws the request after the transfer order is issued will be DEBARRED 🚫 from submitting any transfer request for a period of five (05) years.

📝 Application Process

All applications must be submitted in the prescribed formats (3.1, 3.2, or 3.3 as applicable) through proper channels. Direct applications to the Head Office will NOT be entertained.

Zonal Offices must certify details regarding any disciplinary proceedings and forward data in MS Excel and PDF formats to rc.hrm5@epfindia.gov.in.
