🔄 Types of Transfers Available
🔗 Permanent Mutual Transfer
For officials agreeing to loss of seniority (MTS Cadre DR and Isolated cadres only)
- Direct mutual exchange between two officials
- Requires unconditional acceptance of transfer terms
- Social category matching not required for MTS and Isolated cadres
⏱️ Temporary Mutual Transfer
Duration: 06 years (For MTS, LDC, UDC and Isolated cadres)
- Temporary exchange arrangement for 6-year period
- Option to extend based on administrative needs
- Limited departmental competitive exam eligibility in parent state only
📍 Permanent Inter-State Request Transfer
For MTS cadre and Isolated Cadres with loss of seniority
- Applicant requests specific state for posting
- Subject to administrative approval
- LDCE eligibility restricted to parent state/region
🔀 Rotational Transfer
Annual rotational transfer within zones and states
- Competent authority: Zonal Offices and RPFC (OIC)
- Undertaken within jurisdiction of respective offices
- As per standard transfer policy guidelines

✍️ Application Submission Requirements
📋 Required Information
- Name of applicant with Employee ID (EID)
- Current designation and duty office
- Current station and state of posting
- Recruitment quota details (DR, SO, SC, ST, OBC, EWS, UR)
- Category details for applicable cadres
- Preferred state or zone for transfer
- Grounds or remarks for transfer request
- Clear undertaking accepting all transfer conditions
⚠️ Important Rules and Restrictions
🚫 Direct Applications Not Entertained
Applications submitted directly by officials to Head Office will NOT be entertained. All applications must be routed through respective Regional Offices and Zonal Offices.
⛔ 5-Year Debarment Rule
Officials whose transfer request is accepted and who thereafter refuse or withdraw the request after issuance of transfer order shall be debarred from submitting any transfer request for a period of 5 years.
🛑 Conditional Transfer
Submission of application does not guarantee transfer. All terms and conditions of the transfer policy must be unconditionally accepted by the applicant.
✨ Special Provisions
📌 Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE) Eligibility: Officials under inter-state transfer shall be eligible to appear for LDCE in the parent state/region in which their seniority is maintained.
📌 Sanctioned Strength Consideration: Since the sanctioned strength of MTS, LDC, UDC, and Isolated cadres is very limited, there is no limitation on forwarding transfer requests.
📌 Disciplinary Proceedings Certification: Zonal Offices must certify and furnish information regarding any disciplinary proceedings contemplated, initiated, or undergoing penalty.
