Position Overview
The Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India, is inviting applications for filling up one post of Staff Car Driver on a contractual basis. This is an excellent opportunity for retired Central Government employees, State Government employees, Ex-servicemen, and Para-military personnel to contribute their experience.
Engagement Details
The engagement period is for one year or until further requirements cease, whichever is earlier. The engagement will be governed by the D/o Expenditure's O.M. No. 3-25/2020-E.IIIA dated 09th December, 2020, unless otherwise specified by the Department.
Job Responsibilities
  • Perform all duties and responsibilities as required for a Staff Car Driver in a Government Department
  • Execute any other work as assigned by the Department
  • Maintain and operate government vehicles in compliance with safety regulations
  • Ensure professional conduct and punctuality
Eligibility Criteria
Age Requirement: Applicants must be less than 64 years of age at the time of application.
Essential Qualifications
  • Valid driving license as required for a Staff Car Driver in Ministry/Department of Central Government
  • Retired status from Central Government, State Government, Ex-servicemen, or Para-military organization
  • Medical and physical fitness to perform the duties of a Staff Car Driver
