General Advisory Regarding Strict Punctuality in Attendance
Advisory Notice
It has been noticed with concern that cases of late coming and irregular attendance have been increasing despite repeated instructions. All staff members (Regular/Project/Outsource etc.) are hereby strictly advised to maintain punctuality and regularity in attendance and to adhere without fail to the prescribed office hours, i.e., 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Importance of Punctuality
It is reiterated that punctuality forms an essential component of Government service conduct. Any deviation, recurring lapse, or habitual late coming will be viewed seriously and may attract action under the applicable Conduct Rules and attendance guidelines.
- Maintain punctuality and regularity in attendance
- Adhere strictly to prescribed office hours (9:00 AM to 5:30 PM)
- Avoid late arrivals and irregular attendance
- Understand that violations may result in disciplinary action
Responsibilities of Division/Section Heads
All Heads of Divisions/Sections are directed to ensure strict monitoring of attendance and bring this advisory to the notice of all officials under their control.
