Recruitment for Internal Audit Wing

📋 Overview

Purpose: Engagement of 04 retired officers (ACA/Sr.AO/AO/AAO) empanelled with O/o CGA as Consultants for Internal Audit Wing under Ministry of Education.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification	Graduate in any discipline
Status	Must be a retired government officer (ACA/Sr.AO/AO/AAO) empanelled with O/o CGA as consultant

💼 Required Experience

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Experience in Internal Audit of DDOS/Schemes/Autonomous Bodies/Public Sector Units of Civil Ministries
• Knowledge of Accounting Rules, Regulations, Procedures, Financial Reporting, Payment functions, Commercial Accounting & PFMS
• Knowledge of Procurement of Goods & Services, Execution of Works, Tenders and Contracts
• Knowledge of basic computer functions and MS Office
• Knowledge of establishment and administration matters

💰 Remuneration & Allowances

Salary Structure: As per D/o Expenditure OM No. 3-25/2020-E.III-A dated 09/12/2020

• Fixed monthly remuneration (basic pension deducted from retirement pay)
• Fixed transport allowance (Maximum Rs. 7,200/-) - applicable from date of engagement
• TA/DA as per entitlement at time of retirement for official tours
• NO HRA, CCA, accommodation, or telephone allowance

🏖️ Leave & Other Benefits

Paid Leave: 1.5 days per completed month of service

Note: Leave accumulation beyond a calendar year shall not be allowed

🎯 Roles & Responsibilities

Duties Include:

• Internal Audit of units of seven Ministries under O/o Pr. Chief Controller of Accounts
• Preparation of audit reports
• Assistance in settlement of outstanding audit paras
• Preparation of Annual Audit Plan and Annual Audit Review
• Any other task assigned by the competent authority

Method of Selection:

1. Examination of Applications and CVs
2. Shortlisted candidates called for interview
3. Selection Committee will make final decision based on interview performance

⚖️ Important Terms & Conditions

Key Conditions:

• ✓ Only retired government servants (ACA/Sr.AO/AO/AAO) are eligible
• ✓ Non-disclosure agreement must be signed (confidential information protection)
• ✓ Consultant can be terminated at any time by Competent Authority
• ✓ No right to absorption or regularization
• ✓ One-month advance notice required for discontinuation
• ✓ Consultant must sign Ethics and Integrity clause agreement
