CGDA Updates Internal Grievance Committee for Scheduled Tribe Employees
November 2025 UpdateThe Controller General of Defence Accounts (CGDA) has issued an important circular dated November 11, 2025, announcing the revised composition of the Internal Grievance Committee for addressing employment and service-related grievances of Scheduled Tribe employees in the Defence Accounts Department.

The circular (Reference No. Grievance Cell/IGC/2021/e-4302) notifies all Principal Controllers and Controllers about significant changes to the Internal Grievance Committee structure. This update follows previous headquarters circulars issued on October 28, 2021, and November 16, 2021, on the same subject.
Addition of External Member
A notable development in this circular is the appointment of Shri Stephen PD (IDES:2010), Chief Executive Officer of Cantonment Board, Kanpur (PIN-208004), as an external member of the Internal Grievance Committee. This nomination has been made by the Competent Authority (CGDA) to strengthen the grievance redressal mechanism.
