Subject: Celebration of Bharatiya Bhasha Utsav 2025
The annual week-long celebrations honouring the birth anniversary of Mahakavi Subramania Bharati shall commence on 4th December 2025. The celebrations will culminate on 11th December 2025, marking the observance of Bharatiya Bhasha Utsav 2025.
This Utsav is a tribute to the timeless contributions of Mahakavi Subramania Bharati and aims to promote respect for and understanding of India's rich linguistic heritage.
The theme for this year, “Many Languages, One Emotion,” highlights unity, culture, and shared national identity across diverse Indian languages.

Schools may organise cultural programmes, competitions, and educational activities based on the theme of the Utsav from 4th to 11th December 2025. These activities aim to:
- Enhance students’ appreciation of Indian languages and literature.
- Promote the spirit of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat by encouraging the learning of an additional Indian language.
- Strengthen national unity through linguistic inclusivity.
- Support the national vision of building a multilingual and knowledge-driven society.

- Day 1 (04 Dec): Language Tree Display & Language Heritage Wall
- Day 2 (05 Dec): Poetry Across Languages & Music Through Languages
- Day 3 (06 Dec): Festivals of Many Tongues & Voice of Language Podcast
- Day 4 (08 Dec): Unity in Proverbs & Bhasha Mitra Collaboration
- Day 5 (09 Dec): Bhasha Bandhu Letters & Story Chain in Multiple Languages
- Day 6 (10 Dec): Language Exploration Clubs
- Day 7 (11 Dec): Interactive Language Fair (Bhasha Mela) & Theatre Showcase
