Cabinet Approves 3% DA Increase for Central Government Employees

The Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, has approved an additional 3% Dearness Allowance (DA) instalment for Central Government employees and Dearness Relief (DR) for pensioners, effective from 01 July 2025. This increase raises DA/DR from 55% to 58% of Basic Pay/Pension, benefiting approximately 49.19 lakh employees and 68.72 lakh pensioners at an annual cost of ₹10,083.96 crore.

- Your Basic Pay (include NPA if eligible) (As per 7th CPC)
- Your Transport Allowance (TA) (without DA component e.g., ₹900, ₹1,800, ₹3,600)
- Are you an NPS Subscriber ? (Yes if you are NPS Subscriber; No otherwise)
