The Controller General of Accounts (CGA), Ministry of Finance, has issued an important office memorandum dated October 27, 2025, announcing mandatory training for AAOs in the consideration zone for promotion as Senior Accounts Officer (Sr.AO) for the vacancy year 2026.
This is mandatory training - All nominated AAOs must attend without fail

Mandatory Conditions
Important Rules:
- Attendance is Compulsory: All nominated AAOs must attend without fail
- No Rescheduling: No request for change of dates will be considered
- No Change of Center: No request for change of training center/location
- No Flexibility: Special circumstances requests will NOT be entertained
What if You're on Deputation/NIFM Training?
If any nominated AAO is on deputation to another organization or undergoing NIFM training:
- Immediately notify your Principal Accounts Officer
- Your PAO will notify CGA office with details
- Do NOT skip training without proper notification
