Coal PSUs Announce ₹1,03,000 Performance Linked Reward

Overview
The Ministry of Coal has approved a Performance Linked Reward (PLR) of ₹1,03,000 for non-executive workers of Coal India Limited (CIL), its subsidiaries, and Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL). This was decided at the 6th meeting of the Joint Bipartite Committee’s Standardization Committee on 25 September 2025.
Coverage:
- 2.1 lakh non-executive employees of CIL and its subsidiaries
- 38,000 non-executive employees of SCCL
The PLR will be credited on a pro-rata basis based on attendance records.
Financial Implications
- ₹2,153.82 crores for CIL
- ₹380 crores for SCCL
Objectives
This reward aims to recognize the dedication of non-executive workers, boost morale during the festive season, and reinforce the Ministry’s commitment to worker welfare and an Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
